Arrival & Check-in information
The easiest and most convenient way to travel from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) to your hotel is to book airport transfers using your Traveller Hub (booked 7+ days in advance). Alternatively, the airport is well served by taxi, rideshare and shuttle services that connect directly to the Waikiki area. For more information or assistance with these services, please check with the Information Desk after leaving the baggage claim area.
Hotel check-in time is at 3pm. If arriving prior to this, you will be able to leave your luggage with hotel reception and explore your surroundings until check-in becomes available. The hotel may grant early check-in, however this is strictly subject to availability and at the hotel's discretion.
Today is yours to explore Honolulu and Waikiki at your own pace. The golden sand and clear water of Waikiki Beach sit just steps from the hotel district, and a short stroll east takes you to Kapiolani Park at the foot of Diamond Head. For history, Iolani Palace in downtown Honolulu was the residence of the Hawaiian royal family. Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial are also within easy reach by taxi or organised tour, offering a moving experience at the site of the December 1941 attack. The Bishop Museum provides an excellent overview of Hawaiian and Pacific culture for those interested in the wider region's heritage.
Enjoy a second full day at leisure in Honolulu. Hanauma Bay, a protected marine reserve to the east of the city, offers calm waters ideal for gentle snorkelling and a chance to see colourful reef life. The North Shore, around 90 minutes from Waikiki, is famed for its laid back surf towns and rugged coastline. Closer to the city, the Honolulu Museum of Art houses an impressive collection of Asian, European and Hawaiian works, and the Foster Botanical Garden showcases tropical plants from across the Pacific. Alternatively, settle in for the day with a beachside lunch and an afternoon to soak up the Hawaiian atmosphere ahead of tomorrow's embarkation.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and make your own way to the cruise terminal at Honolulu Harbor. Welcome aboard Celebrity Edge and step into the signature Edge Class experience as you settle into your stateroom. Take time to explore the ship's many dining venues, lounges, pool deck and outdoor spaces. Enjoy lunch onboard and unwind ahead of departure. Your journey begins as the ship sails from Honolulu in the early evening, bound for the South Pacific.
Wake up to a full day at sea aboard Celebrity Edge. Start your morning with a leisurely breakfast before enjoying the ship's many amenities. Relax at the spa, take part in onboard activities, or enjoy live entertainment. Indulge in dining this evening as you sail towards French Polynesia.
Another relaxing day at sea. Take advantage of the spa facilities, settle into a comfortable spot with a book, or join your fellow guests for one of the onboard activities. Mealtimes punctuate the day with a wide choice of dining venues, from the main restaurant to the casual buffet and a range of specialty options.
Continue your journey south across the Pacific. As the ship moves closer to the equator, the climate becomes warmer and the days noticeably brighter. Spend time on the pool deck, take in a presentation in the theatre, or treat yourself to something from the spa menu. Evenings bring a choice of entertainment from live music to feature performances.
Another full day at sea with several days of sailing still ahead before your first port of call. Today is a chance to truly slow down, with no schedules to keep and plenty of time to enjoy the ship at a relaxed pace.
Your final day at sea before reaching French Polynesia. Use today to plan your shore time in the islands ahead, attend an onboard talk about the region, or simply enjoy the slow pace of life at sea. Watch the sunset from your Infinite Veranda in anticipation of tomorrow's arrival in Moorea.
This morning you will arrive in Moorea, one of the most striking islands in the South Pacific. Jagged volcanic peaks rise sharply from the lagoon, framed by white sand beaches and clear turquoise water. As this is a tendered port, small boats will ferry you ashore from the ship. Free time today to explore independently or join an optional shore excursion. The island is famed for its snorkelling and dolphin watching in Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. The ship departs Moorea in the evening.

Your final day at sea before reaching New Zealand. The temperature begins to cool as the ship moves into the southern latitudes. Use today to attend one of the onboard talks about your upcoming destinations, enjoy a final spa treatment, or simply take in the view from your Infinite Veranda.
Arrive in Tauranga, the gateway to the Bay of Plenty and one of New Zealand's most attractive coastal cities. The harbour is dominated by Mount Maunganui, an extinct volcano with a walking track to the summit and golden sand beaches at its base. Tauranga is also the closest port to Rotorua, around an hour inland, with its dramatic geothermal landscape of geysers, bubbling mud pools and steaming lakes. Other optional excursions include visits to the working farm at Hobbiton and the surrounding rolling countryside. Free time today to explore at your own pace or join an organised shore excursion.
Arrive in the Bay of Islands, an area of subtropical beauty in New Zealand's far north. The bay is dotted with around 144 small islands, many uninhabited, with secluded coves, sheltered beaches and clear water. The historic town of Russell, briefly New Zealand's first capital, sits across the bay from the port at Paihia and offers colonial architecture and a quietly charming waterfront. Nearby, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds mark the site where the 1840 treaty between the British Crown and Maori chiefs was signed, an event central to New Zealand's national story.

Visas & Entry Requirements
Many countries require a visa and obtaining the correct visa for your tour and any countries you may transit through is your responsibility. You can check the visa entry requirements for your nationality via our page here:

You’ll need a valid passport to travel internationally and most countries require your passport to have a minimum of 6 months validity, so remember to check the expiry date.
We need your passport information to get everything ready for your tour so the information on your booking must match your passport exactly. Please take care to provide the correct details. We recommend carrying a copy of the photo page of your passport while travelling and leaving a copy at home with family or friends.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended on all our tours. We require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. It is also important to consider forced pre-tour cancellations and how your chosen insurance policy may cover such circumstances, so please keep this in mind when choosing your provider.
We strongly recommend all travellers have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects. For international tours, you will be asked by your tour leader for your travel insurance details if they were not already added to your Traveller Hub account pre-departure.
If you have credit card insurance your Inspiring Vacations tour leader or local guide may require details of the participating insurer/underwriter, the level of coverage, policy number, and emergency contact number rather than the bank's name and your credit card details. Please contact your bank for these details before arriving in-country.
Before you depart, you will be asked to submit your Travel Insurance details through the booking holder's Traveller Hub account through the Inspiring Vacations website. This is to ensure that we have this information readily available should we ever need it.
